Question about requesting points

Hi. New here. I just read a bunch of the rules around the Rent/Transfer threads but one thing that’s unclear to me still so I’d appreciate some clarity. Lots of rules regarding this and rightfully so but do most of those rules pertain to folks trying to sell or transfer their points or also apply to buyers? For example, as a potential buyer of points am I restricted from posting a thread in Rent/Transfer until either hit the requirements or buy one of the plans? Or are buyer request threads not allowed? Thanks in advance for the help!

Buyer requests are not allowed. You can usually find what you're looking for if you check that forum every couple of days.

Those interested in renting a reservation may only post in an active thread from an owner offering.

We do not allow reservation wanted threads, including in the other DVC threads.

So, unless you are responding to someone’s thread offering points, you can’t mention anywhere what you are looking for.
