Sci-Fi Dine Inn Beef and Blue salad

This sounds like what they really offer is a wedge salad, which is perfectly fine if that's what's advertised. But typically, at least in my experience, a beef and blue is a larger salad of mixed greens, flank or skirt steak and real crumbled blue cheese with the dressing varying by restaurant. If I ordered a beef and blue and got a wedge salad I would be disappointed. Not that I don't like them but it's a totally different animal. But if the menu description is accurate then I guess it's just maybe the title that's confusing?

Allears has it listed as:

Beef and Blue Salad - Sliced butcher-tender steak with a Wedge of Iceberg Lettuce with Blue Cheese Dressing, Tomatoes and Bacon $15.99

Here's a picture I found online from a trip report. This one looks fairly substantial to me and I'd be satisfied with it since it matches the description. Wedge salads generally don't have a bunch of extra veggies like carrots, cucumber, etc. I'd prefer it had blue cheese crumbles, but I don't expect it given this is Sci-Fi at Disney, not a fine dining location.

Thanks. It seems like an odd dish actually. Like a typical iceberg wedge with a side of steak, hmm. Oh well, as long as people enjoy it.

Oh, I agree. It's like they sliced a steak and snuck it on the plate as an afterthought. Personally, I'd rather have more bacon and some blue cheese crumbles instead of the steak. I've never gotten it there before, I'm more of a burger/onion rings person myself! :thumbsup2
