Sci Fi Dine in for 9 people

I have a reservation for 9 people at Sci Fi, but we want to sit in the cars. Are we doomed to be put in the picnic tables if we do a 9 person reservation? Should we just split the reservations up and each family have their own to increase our chances of sitting in the cars?

You should still be able to get the cars, they will do two cars next to each other most likely. I book reservations for a party of 7 and when I check in they ask how we want to sit (the last time we just used one car as the kids were little so we did 3 in one row). Keep your reservation for 9 and just tell them when you check in what you want.

We had a party of 10 and had cars right next to each other, by the way the restaurant was only half full when we went in November. Have a great ride and enjoy the drive in.

We have went several times with a party of 8 and always sat in cars next to each other. Just let them know when you check in that you want to sit in the cars. You will be fine.

Agree with above, had same experience. We were not near each other, but it was fine.

The picnic tables are for walk ups and small, you all would need a few so they likely would not seat you there.
