How many adults fit in the car at sci fi? Can we have a car and table next to each other. ? Probably 6 of us. Haven't been there in like 20 years!!!
Yes, the poster before you posted a pic of it. And i agree, although some might prefer facing eachother and sitting at a regular table, it is a bit awkward looking at the screen sideways. Its a drive in, so i'd much rather face the screen (2+2+2). The theme is amazing. It really feels like youre in a car. But it all depends on what you all prefer. There are also some cars that have regular tables instead of the 2/2/2/ rows. I think they are usually parties of 8, or if someone wouldn’t quite “fit” in the smaller 2/2/2/ row. Only problem is you sit facing each other, so the screen is to your side.

Oooh hadn’t thought of this... my step dad is Pooh sized. Will he have to have a table? Is that something the servers size up in the moment or do you have to go through the embarrassment of trying a car and then asking for a table if you’re too large? He would much rather have a car I think but would be mortified to realized he didn’t fit in front of everyone. There are also some cars that have regular tables instead of the 2/2/2/ rows. If we have a group of 7, but one is a toddler, would they let us have a car (if available) and have the toddler on one of our laps?
They will pull high chairs up to one of the rows. So if the toddler can sit in that, you’ll be all set in a regular car. Or 3 small, skinny kids can fit in a row. Just talk with the host when you check in for your options. If we have a group of 7, but one is a toddler, would they let us have a car (if available) and have the toddler on one of our laps?
Ymmv of course- My 2.5 yo and 6yo and my early 30s husband and I all found it charming and funny. It was a highlight of our trip even though the food was not amazing, it was fine and we were able to split and/or just order an app unlike a character lunch so it ended up being pretty cheap for us, comparatively. We sat at one of the regular tables that are situated around the back of the room. The movie clips are more short pieces of various sci-fi movies from the past. Honestly, if you aren't over 50, I doubt you would have any idea what the clips are about. We ate lunch there during our recent trip since the place next door (can't recall the name) was being refurbished and wasn't open. Food was very average and we were just not impressed overall.
It would probably depend how big the toddler is. I have seen people on the Dis refer to a 5 YO as a toddler. They will pull high chairs up to one of the rows. Thing with the high chair is, there's not a lot of space in the aisles. Not quite 2 so definitely a toddler and could sit in a high chair.. also have 2 kids so definitely think we could make it work. Thanks!

My husband, five year old son at the time, and I all sat in one row.If we have a group of 7, but one is a toddler, would they let us have a car (if available) and have the toddler on one of our laps?
