Does ANYONE like the Sci Fi Cafe?! :sad2: Usually it's because the food isnt very good and overpriced. I went in March and honestly I didn't like the Chili or bbq chicken sandwich I got, but I'm going again in August, but it's mainly because I like the environment and the ribs that my friend got were really good!!! :thumbsup2 Idk...I was just wondering if anyone actually liked it.

That was the main thing that I had to say. But I would also like to mention how amazing Chef Mickey's breakfast is! The food is sooo good! And so many options! 50s Prime Time Cafe is my all time favorite though! I love playing along w. the "family."

Let's see...anything else...oh yeah I'm going to eat at the San Angel Inn..most people seem to either love it or hate it. What side are you on?

Ok the end haha

We love Sci fi- go every trip. Can't beat the atmosphere, and while not a 5 star, our food has always been good.

I didn't even know the Sci-Fi was there until I was looking at the menu website about a month ago. I've heard mixed things on the food, but we will probably at least eat lunch there. Primetime is our favorite as well and we probably eat two meals there everytime. I am not a San Angel fan. People keep saying that the only reason folks give it bad reviews is because it is true Mexican cuisine and not Tex-mex. While the menu descriptions are fairly accurate Mexican dishes, I do not think the food quality is very high. The atmosphere is great, but you can see it by going on the ride or just walking in the resturaunt, which also has little shopping kiosks in it. For some reason, we ate at San Angel again last summer (even though we said we wouldn't). For our next trip in a couple of weeks, I think we'll just grab some messy Tex-mex from the counter service out front and wash it down with a cold beer or margarita. It is a much better execution of cheap tex-mex than San Angel's expensive "mexican" cuisine.

We liked the Sci Fi and we liked St Angel Inn now mind you my family is not adventerous eaters so they stick to what they know like DH and DS just ordered the nachos appetizer as their meal..They really liked it tho.. At Sci Fi (its been 2 yrs) I had a baked chicken with mash sweet potatos and stuffing and it was awesome! My DH had ribs and enjoyed them. I hear that if you stick to burgers its really good..My family is normally easily pleased so I think they could eat almost anything on their menu. we are trying PT for the first time in AUg and I cant wait. We had ADR March of 05 but it was still so crowded we ended up going to H&V next door which was not great at all and had very little variety..

That chicken sandwich is MIGHTY DRY! You will need to order a couple of drinks to wash it down. I won't order it again.

We enjoyed Sci-fi this past june, but it was not that great, so we probably won't be returning any time soon!

We also go to Sci~fi every trip and really enjoy it! The onion rings are to die for;)
