Sci Fi Burger or Beaches and Cream Burger?

Have had the one at Sci-Fi, it didn't wow me. (it was fine just nothing to write home about) I would try Beaches & Cream.

I haven't had a B&C burger but I've had a Sci Fi burger and it was pretty bad. Big, but dry. No seasoning, just bland and sitting there on a dry bun.
The experience inside Sci Fi is one of the best though. Go there, but don't order a burger!!

I don't know about Sci Fi's burgers, but Beaches and Cream has ruined theirs. They used to grind their meat fresh in-house, but that's no longer the case. Now their burgers are boring and one (small) step up from a QS place.

My fave WDW burgers are Raglan Road, The Turf Club, and Liberty Tree (lunch only, of course). I used to really like Le Cellier's burger, but I haven't had one in ages. We're going back on our up-coming trip, so there'll be a burger update soon. :thumbsup2

For a review of nearly every (non-QS) burger at WDW, check out my dining review link in my sig. The first part has a LOT of burgers: B&C, Turf Club (twice), Kona, Raglan Road, LTT...I think that's it. :hippie:

I'm only responding so we can have a Pirate Sheep and a Pirate Penguin avatar consecutive. :)

We ate burgers at Sci-Fi and B&C within a couple of days of each other a year or two ago and found them pretty much the same. B&C is best for dessert, though.

Sci Fi burger for the restaurant atmosphere, but Beaches and Cream for the desserts to have after the burger. It's not often that we get burgers at those places though, so it is hard to say for sure.

I'd say the the burgers are pretty much a toss up -go with which atmosphere you prefer or what would be most convenient.

Oh, I am sorry to hear that. We went to B&C on our last trip to Disney and it was also the last time we'll go to B&C for lunch. The burger tasted like a frozen patty from Costco and was not even edible. We were thinking of hitting Sci-fi this week but not if we can expect the same bad meal :sad1:

You can get the Beaches and Cream burger at the Hurricaine Hannahs CS by the pool..It is nothing special anymore.Scifi is ok..We like the burger over at the Fountain at the Dolphin resort

B&C burgers have never impressed me, not even back when others raved. I also don't think the ice cream is worth the trip there.

While Sci Fi food and milkshakes are also average, the atmosphere is unique and worth at least one visit.

B&C burgers have gone way downhill. Sci-Fi is pretty good though. I'd offer a 3rd alternative - the Dolphin Fountain (Dolphin hotel), has wonderful burgers.

We think Sci-Fi burgers are much better than B&C. The mushroom, swiss burger at Sci-Fi is one of the best burgers I've had in a long time.

This is a perfect example of why it's hard to make recommendations to others. People can have such differing opinions, when it comes to food. The burger I had at RR was one of the worst things I've ever eaten. One bite was all I could stomach. We all have different palates, so it's not uncommon for people to disagree. I don't think you'll ever get a universal thumbs up on any food item or restaurant.

Don't take my word for it. You should try it for yourself. We all have differing opinions, when it comes to food. You may love it. That pic does look good. It's been 3 or 4 years, since I've eaten it. At the time, the combination of flavors were disgusting to me. It may have changed.

Thanks for the ongoing advice.

We are going to both places in one day. We are getting ice cream at B and C and we are going to Sci Fi for Cherry Cokes, etc.

I just wanted to know which place we should actually have a MEAL. I've heard good things about each burger so I thought I would throw the question out there to you guys and see where we land.

But both places will get a visit.. just trying to figure out which place we should actually plan a meal.

Thanks so much!!!

From what I've heard, I would ( and plan to) do B&C OOP and just get ice cream. From what I've read, the sundaes seem great and huge so, I wouldnt want to fill up with a burger and miss out!!
