Sci-Fi - Are kid meals served on Frisbee's ?

I thought I read somewhere kids meals are served on Frisbee's ?
Is this true?
It would be a fun 'free' sovenier for my kids.
DH likes the idea of eating in a 'car' watching B-rated old fashioned movies

I read out the frisbee thing too, but never had them served this way - atleast not the 2 times in the last 2 years that we have been

When we ate there many moons ago...1999...Yes, it was served on a glow in the dark frisbee...but haven't heard of this lately...sorry! You might try calling WDW directly and asking...just a thought.

According to Frommer's Walt Disney World & Orlando 2006 guide it states that children's meals are served on glow in the dark frisbee's...maybe they only hv a certain # of these per day, and once they run out, the children get served on normal plates?

I wondered about that too. We ate there in Nov. Neither of our 2 kids meals were on frisbees. We didn't ask about it or anything. The kids had a great time anyway!

We just ate there in December and DD did not get one with her kid's meal. Our ADR was at 12:15. I didn't see any kids with them.

We got them several years back but I thought we had to pay extra for them?

My DD had gotten a purple frisbee it was in May 2003...I just asked her. She didn't get to take it with her...they took it away when they cleaned up.

It was not a souv because they didn't let her have it.

My niece didn;t get one with her meal in june 2005. We were there fairly early in day too.

My kids received glow in the dark frisbees that they were allowed to keep on our 1998 trip. We haven't been back to the restaurant since then, though, so they may have stopped that.

Exactly the same here. Just back from a December / January visit and my granddaughter's meal was not served in a frisbee. We were at MGM at least 3 or 4 times during our stay and also never saw anyone with them.

They no longer have frisbees. The ones that they had them for a very short time...the ones they did have had dates on them. Either 1999 or 2000. Once they were out they were out.

I read this too and did ask the server about it when we ate there in Aug of 2002. He said that they "used" to do this but that they no longer did it. I am still reading guides that will say 'free frisbee' for children at the Sci-Fi. *shrug* I'm not really sure why they keep incorporating that bit of information when it's no longer the case.

We have a couple of those frisbies from several years ago.

I thought the desserts were still served on frisbies??? I thought some kind of cookie icecream sundae was still served on the cool frisbies.

We have some cute Sci Fi plastic lidded cups from a recent trip. I wonder if they still have those??

I remember when everywhere you went you got cute Mickey crazy straws in all the kids' drinks. Those days are long gone, too.
