Schwan's Home Delivery??

We love Schwan's ..... We just bought the chicken fingers ans the cordon bleu.. oh and the doggie ice cream for our POM .. she loves them.

OK - SOLD. Doggie ice cream??????? where is it, I don't see it in my catalog!!

Schwanns has great service and great food! They used to come to our neighborhood when I was little. They seem to have dropped out of the picture in NH though. They have GREAT ice cream, and their mini pizzas are awesome too. Actually everything we got from them was good. We used to have an awesome delivery guy. Same person every two weeks; we got to know him and he got to know us. It was when he left the company that Schwans seemed to disappear from the neighborhood. They never really gave us a hard time if we said we didn't need anything either. Very good company

We've used Schwan's for a couple years now. I started ordering with them once I discovered my company had a corporate discount through them. So it was a pretty decent deal to have some frozen dinners delivered. I think they're reasonably priced for the convenience of the meal preparation, prompt delivery schedule and quality of the food. I have never disliked any food I've received from them.

Has anyone tried their pumpkin ice cream? Is it good? Nothing I buy in the stores holds a candle to what Carvel sold when I was younger. It was like eating a frozen pumpkin pie.

I think the doggie ice cream is new and may not be in all areas yet, try looking online at schwans.com.

I thought it was good but I have never had Carvel before so I can't compare it.


Another tidbit about Schwan's. They use the Disney model for their customer service training (well, all their employees go through this training). They even show a video about the behind the scenes things that go on at Disney that makes Disney special. It is pretty cool.
