I know. I'm in Michigan for crying out loud and it almost has to be the beginning of the next ice age for us to get a snow day. Then I hear about schools getting canceled for rain.

I live in New England and the schools aren't the greatest here...they leak lol...well at least the public aren't good but the private are in very good shape...but for now I am in public but next year i will be in private so I guess I can say this will be my only rain day

i hear ya!!!!! there is a school by me that delays EVERYTIME it fogs and sometimes even CLOSES DUE TO FOG!!!!! they are like 5 days over their snow day limit so they have to go in the summer!!!! sucks to be them!!!!

I want to move to Tennessee. They get a dusting of snow, or even a heavy frost and schools close. Everyone freaks out.

That's one thing I can't wait for in Florida. Watch kids come in in heavy winter coats when it's 50 out, while I'm in a t-shirt.

No, I mean a dusting. Not even an inch. I mean, there is only like .000000000000000000000001 inches of snow on the ground, and all of a sudden it's, OMG WE CAN'T FUNCTION!!!! CLOSE THE SCHOOLS!!! CLOSE THE BANKS!!!! CALL THE NATIONAL GUARD!!!!!

We didn't use to either. Then we had a bus flip and now if we have snow more than likely there is a snow day..

wow, we never ever get rain days..and our school district has only had ONE snow day in 15 yrs....yeah our schools suck!!!!! everyone else has gotten at least like 10 snowdays! not fair..

and for rain? it must have been pretty bad.
