School Tomorrow?

Im moving in tomorrow!!! I can't wait!!! I have to leave the house at 6:30 to get there for 7:15, so that I can help my mom unpack. And then I have to go to an RA meeting. and then my mom will be back with more stuff for me, and I have to unpack all that. and then I have to help the new people move in.not looking forward to Wednsday, cuz thats when sports start, and it is pre season and they work our butts off. but then saturday is orientation i believe...well its this weekend.

I started senior year exactly a week to today. (Aug. 29th).

I still dont start school til next monday the 11th because of our new school. But i still get to get out same time as most schools around me. But the whole school is crazy are periods are all different and we have a lunchroom thats not really a room everything is different from our high school that has been there forever

okay so before, I wasn't even nervous. At all. I had been in the high school for 8th and 9th grade before this. No biggie. I knew my way around. But since so many teachers retired/resigned, there are 30-35 kids in each class. That's sooooo overwhelming to be in a class of that many. And I lost my schedule, so I didn't know where to go. My new locker is behind a door. I have 4 honors classes, and on the first day we got homework. And to top it all off.......I have gym last period with all the preppy girls who make fun of me. Joy. Anyone else feeling my pain?

right now i'm pretty good, had a good day today. everything went fine.

yesterday, it was just those getting organised & the teachers making the whole thing sound like a lot of work. though, of course this year the english teacher is tougher, last year we stopped doing reading logs when we started novel studies and such, but we'll probably have 4-5 things on the go at once and possibly more.

but that's not why i was unhappy.
i was alone in my class.
i don't make friends easily, and i was just like 'yeahhhh. what do i do now?'
to make matters worse, my teacher is a french nazi (kind of like a grammar nazi) and makes us speak french during homeroom in the mornings & at the end of school.
today he was threatening to kick us out of immersion if we didn't speak french. i know, it was our choice to go into immersion, but we do have rights to speak whatever language we want. we should not be deprived of our right to learn french because we choose to speak english to our friends because it's easier to communicate that way.
