Dizducktape is of to 7th grade I'm off to 10th.

First period for me is a Spanish teacher that i can barley understand what shes saying.

WOW I didn't know you guys were so young!!!

no I don't have to start school ever again I have graduated college but let me just say this, I am envious that you get to start school !!!!!! Yes it sometimes sux to have to go and learn but in the end these years you should treasure!! take in every moment and appreciate the full freedom of being young. ture I am not too much older but I would give anything to not have so many of the responsiblities that I have now.

good luck on your first day they are always so exciting!

I think kids don't go back till the 25th up here in MD??? and in high school the very first day is freshman only so they can figure out how to get around without all the upper classmen in their way!!

Our troops are back on Tuesday
Spent a hectic weekend shopping for school shoes, pack lunch boxes, school bags etc.
Going back to work on Monday for a break

My DS is off to college on the 28th...freshman move-in day is 2 days before everyone else. DD starts sometime the first week in September...she's in her Jr. year of college.

We go back on Sept. 2nd. It feels like the last day of school was yesterday.

The kids and myself (I'm a teacher, at least I'm a substitute for now) go back on Wed. Sept 3rd. I haven't done any clothes shopping yet for the kids, just the backpacks & lunch totes (from the Disney Store, or course ) and some supplies from Wal-Mart - I mean who can pass up notebooks for 5 cents each , so I'll be doing that over the next few weeks

Teacher here. Inservice for teachers starts tomorrow (8/18), school begins for students on the 25th.

My girls go back tomorrow. I have 2 in High School. One is a freshman and the other a sophmore and my DGD is in kindergarten.

Our county changed the schedule so they are starting 2 weeks later than they usually do.

My first day is the 28th. I'm actually on vacation right now until the 25th, so I'm not going to have a long time to adjust to the idea of going to high school...

I love vacation though!

I go back to teaching on the 25th. Don't get me wrong, I love teaching, but I really enjoyed being home with my DDs all summer. We did a lot of fun things. They are getting to the ages where they are really fun.

I do however, look forward to getting paid again

My DD goes back on Wednesday! She's not looking forward to it at all! I'm not either as it sort of heralds the unofficial end of summer! Labor Day is right around the corner and for me, that is the official end of summer. I usually don't hold grudges very long, but last winter in Chicago was HORRENDOUS and well, I just haven't gotten over that one yet. I'm going to need at least two more months of nice summer weather to make up for last winter.

Any way my spanish teacher is realy realy realy weird only word any one understood was "i from paru" and she sai dno at the end of every thing im so doing what ever i can to switch out of here.

I'm a teacher, and we go back the day after Labor Day. I also taught summer school this year, and that just ended on Friday. So I have two weeks to recover. DCL here I come!
