Ms. Saige: she nodded. "Good. Anyone else?"

Brendan: he raised his hand.

Ms. Saige: "Yes?"

Brendan: "The language they used in Atlantis?"

Ms. Saige: she nodded. "Correct, they spoke Atlantean."

Art: He said after being called on, "I don't know if this counts, but before the song Hellfire in the Hunchback of Notre Dame, the people in the church sang about a verse in the Latin language. Also later in this movie when Quasimodo saves Esmeralda, there is a choir singing Latin."

Ms. Saige: she nodded. "Any use of languages in movies counts."

Art: He tried to hide his smile. He had always been told Languages were his thing, so he was really happy he got a question right. Art wondered what other languages were in a Disney movie, so he tried to come up with them.

Henriette: She raised her paw. "In Beauty and the Beast they spoke a little French."

Jason: He raised his hand. "In Peter Pan, Tinker Bell had her own language of sorts with the bell sounds and miming. Does that count?"

Nat: She raised her hand. "Ms. Saige I have a question. When animals talk talk so we understand them, do they use their own language and somehow it translates over to ours, or are they just speaking English like the other characters?"

Ms. Saige: She smiled. "That is a very good question. These animals speak as they would normally do, but some people's brains have the power to translate the sounds. Also, there are some amulets and potions that can change what you hear. Like that new princess, Sophia, she has an amulet that does it."

Nat: "That's cool." She nodded in understanding.

Nat: She raised her hand. "In Brave there was that song in whatever language that was. Celt? Scottish?"

Ms. Saige: "I believe it was Celtic, yes. Very good. For homework today you are going to pick one movie, and explain why using the other language helps add to it."

All My characters: They nodded, understanding.
