School is closed today too.

It must be icy out there. Our kids were supposed to be out of school by May 31st but they had so many snow days that now their new last day of school is June 16th. When are your kids getting out of school?

We're on Spring Break so no school anyway but I know it was icy out last night here in Michigan because my DH went into the ditch coming home from work.

We've only had about 3 snow days up here, but the don't make the kids make up for them. They get out the end of June always.

WOW Kitty, I hope your DH is ok.
Our kids start school early , usually the week before labor day but get out by the end of May / beginning of June. This year I think they started August 27 and they were supposed to be out May 31. They also don't get spring break ( only four day weekend for easter ), so it's not like they get a lot of holidays.

I'm amazed that with all the snow we've had this year that our schools have had NO snow days! (So far, anyway...it IS, after all, ONLY April. ) They start school the Tuesday/Wednesday after Labor Day, get a week in February, a week in April (next week), and they get out June 16th this year.

We've had no snow days here either. The snow always started after they were already in school so they just kept them for the day. Hoping they get out before the planned June 27. I think they will since they didn't use any snow days.

DH is fine just tired as he didn't get home til 3:30 AM. He usually gets home at 1:30.
