School is almost out!!!!

Only two more weeks of cooking school lunches for 1400 teens everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WOW this has been quite a long year!!!

Is it just me, or.....

I thought when I was in school way back when that we went to school the Wed-Friday before Labor Day, out Labot Day, and still were out for the summer by May 20 or so.

I know they have added more required days, but when I was teaching, the students sure didn't seem as though there education showed they had gone more. Of course, I taught in a rough area. So, that may make a difference.

My son's last day of school is on June 6! Awwww....my son is getting bigger...he will be in 1st grade this Sept!

My last day of classes is June 3rd with English ending on May 21st, then my exams are over on June 9th, and I graduate from high school on June 14th.

My kids' last day is May 23rd. They only have 10 more class days left.

Kids get out May 29th here, teachers get out May 30---I'll be in WDW on May 31! (Grades are due Wed. at my school--guess what I'm doing this weekend!)

Wow, that is early, when did you start school? We still have until June 11th here, we started the second to last week in August last year.

For the upcoming school year we will be starting after Labor, so I wonder how late we will get out next year.

School does end here until June 26, but they don't go back until Wednesday or Thursday after Labor Day.

DS's last day is May 30. I CAN'T WAIT!! I'm so tired of the 10 mile drive each way to school. I want a break! It's always a killer the last month or month and a half.

Wow! I guess that explains why last week DS's teacher told him that he got a 96 on his math test and needed it! I guess the rest of the year is essentially "fluff!"

School started this year on August 9th.Most of the counties around here start the first week of August and get out the second or third week of May.

DD and DS get out 1/2 day on their last day of school June 20th . . .and then they'll find out the BIG SURPRISE!!!!!
