Which is your all-time favorite School House Rock clip?

I vote for Conjunction, Junction What's your Function, followed closely by I'm just a Bill.

Ahh, so many good memories. :thumbsup2

I burned "Figure Eight" onto a cd to listen to while I was in labor (with other songs, of course) because it relaxes me so much. :)

So that one is a favorite, but I also love Elbow Room, Mr. Morton, and A Noun is a Person, Place, or Thing.

i know this is sad, but i learned the solar system by singing "interplanet janet" and i can't remember the specific name of the other one, but it taught me the preamble to the constitution, lol. i suppose interplanet janet is my favorite, since i still have to sing it in my head to remember the order of the planets, lol.

Just don't forget to take Pluto off of your list now.

And remember Pluto is not a Planet - He's a Dog Star!!!

LOL I used it in school more than once.

Elbow Room---all time favorite, but also love the Preamble Song----it's the only way I ever remember the Preamble! :thumbsup2

Interjection!!! - show excitment... la la la

or by a comma when the feelings not as strong...

Yeah that will be going through my head all day. :rotfl:

I loved all of them really and they came in handy many times - thanks for the memories

It was really hard choosing between "Conjunction Junction" and "Interjection."

Loved the one where they sang the preamble. We had to write it out in 8th grade and I sat there singing in my head, "Weee, the people, in order to form a more-perFECT-union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquitity-e-e-e...provide for the common-defense, promote the general welfare a-and..." :teeth:

I also liked those little commercial thingies they did. "Off we go to spend our dough without our common sense...we're the dough-nuts!"

I used this one when my kids were little: "Don't knock it till you've tried it, put a little on your plate! Don't make a face a face before you taste it...some folks think it's great!"

A man and a woman had a little baby......... :cloud9:

Wow, major flashback there!!!
Was that the same one that had in it"...I'm hankering for a hunk of cheese"?

Conjunction, Junction What's Your Function and Im Just a Bill.

no favorite-but my kids routinely when they ask grammer questions say 'mom, just answer me-DON'T SING ABOUT IT'. sorry, but i remember the rules from the catchy little tunes :teeth:

i too can only do the preamble to the constitution by singing it, and i LOVE a parody the simpson's did on that one (years ago) with the same singer on 'i'm an amendment to be' (i'm an amendment to be, an amendment to be and i'm hoping that they'll radify me...') :thumbsup2

Yes, it was.

There were more of those little commercial thingies during "Kids are People, Too!" than there were during the cartoons, but they showed 'em during the cartoons, too.

I loved, "Kids are People, Too!" I sat there eating my bowl of Fruit Loops in front of the TV (no way mom would get up early enough to catch me) saying, "Yeah! Kids ARE people, too!" :teeth:

I hated the Figure 8 girl. She bored the crap outta me.

I used to love these and After School Specials. Robbie Bensen. Memories :cool1:
