School Holidays

Could anyone tell me when the School holidays
run from in Orlando Folrida.

Most of the US spring school vacation runs around easter time. Either week before or during Easter, this includes FL, too.

School calendars I looked at indicate that most of the schools in the Orlando area start back on August 2 or August 9.

We were in Floriday around August 11th and one of the counties went back to school during our stay. The news station stated that it was the last county in the area returning to school. So most of the counties must return early August.

WDW straddles Osceola and Orange County. This year Osceola County returns to school on Thursday, August 5; Orange County starts back on Monday, August 11. HTH

Okay, so now we know when the go back in August........When do they get out in June???

But, there are many other counties that go back later in the month although this year our county (Broward) starts a week earlier than last year (8/16/04) which is making our August trip to WDW pretty much "not happening"...but we will try a Sept. one. Due to this I would bet that Labor day time will be VERY BUSY!

Why will Labor Day time be very busy if the kids are in school? Do you mean the actual Labor Day three day weekend will be busy?
