Plantation Middle School (Broward County) - IOA on Friday May 13th

Everyone post your school field trip dates in this thread. I realize this is over a month away, but that way people can plan.

They usually happen on a Friday. The bus picks up the kids early in the morning, they drive up, arrive the park at about 10am, and stay until 6pm.
While this adds a ton of kids to the park, they do arrive after opening, and they can't get any express passes.

So if you are going May 13th, expect a bunch of kids to be there around 11am. Most are happy just to be there walking around with their friends. I think my daughter went on one ride last year.

I was there on one of these weekends a couple of years ago and it was terribly packed. IOA was the worst on Friday. We went to U.S. on Saturday and it was not as bad.

Figured I'd add the MK Grad Night dates which are April 29 and 30.

Grad Bash at IOA is April 22-23. It runs from 7pm to 2am each night.
There is a city walk pass for seniors that lets them into the clubs from 5pm to 8pm.

Anyone have any more dates to add of school field trips?

Bair Middle School is having their field trip on Thursday, April 28 to Orlando. The 6th Grade is going to MK, the 7th & 8th Grade are going to IOA. Last year my daughter told me that it was very crowded so I was thinking about purchasing the Express plus pass for her and her friend online and have them pick it up at will call when they arrive. This way they will get to enjoy some of the rides.

That's a nice gesture on your part. I asked my daughter if she wanted to take her AP, swipe it at the gate, so she could use the express machines. She said no, the kids stay together as a big group and walk around. What they do is play a few games in the lost continent, buy candy, souvineers, and have fun together. You'll have to ask your daughter and friend how they feel about it. They may want to stay together with the group and not split off. Last time, my daughter only went on 1 ride, but that didn't matter. Being with the group and buying a few souvineers meant more than the rides. Now if all her friends bring extra money, and buy the booklets, then it could work.

Just thought I'd bump this thread.

May 13th is here. For anyone reading this who is going on Friday, expect to see a bunch of middle shool kids around 10am.
