School Dances :(

I went to a "spring into summer" dance at my high school last night. Does anybody else hate going to dances?
I didn't really dance at all. I did a little bit with my friends but that's it. :-/ 4 hours of boringness. And the one boy I wanted to dance with was CONSTANTLY dancing with other girls *sigh*

We had a dance a few weeks ago. NHS sponsored it and the ticket makings went to the Tsunami relief fund. It was at my work [which is a catering hall] so I went into the kitchen and got my boss and friends/co-workers to come out and we danced to everysong. I even put on an apron to make them feel better.

i think the baseball team organized this one as a fundraiser for new uniforms? i don't know. it sucked anyways.

yeah r dances are fun most of us just do our own thing freestyle last year my friend told me she had signed me up to sing in front of the whole school so i got up there and the mic didnt work i was so releved

i love dances, i go to all the ones our school hosts and all the ones our school is invited to, the only one i cant go to is prom utill i am a sophmore and thats only if i get asked. but as for the guy that you wanted to dance with, you should have went up to him and danced with him, im sure he wouldnt have minded, cuz as u said he was dancing with alot of girls. alot of guys like it when a girl goes up to them and starts dancing with them, well i know the guys i dance with do.

Yeah, we had one on Friday. We usually have one every other month. It's fun, but my friends never dance, so I dance with other people, and then my friends want to know why I ditched them. Oh, and my crush hardly knows I exist, so I can't really dance with him.

my school doesn't have dances---they think it's EVIL or sumthing. So we have jr/sr banquets which suck cuz you have to be a junior OR a senior to go....plus the juniors pay for it.

HaHa Nobody ever goes to the dances except those who organize them, and their rather BORING! The only thing close to school dances I go to are Banquets.

i LOVE dances. I've been to every dance my school has offered.
That means the Welcome Back dance, Homecoming Dance, and Winter Formal... Frosh, Soph, AND junior year.
And I can't wait for May 7th. JUNIOR PROM! woot!

And alot of people go to the dances. For the Homecoming Dance, they sold almost 1000 bids. and since it's 2 people per bid, that means there was close to 2000 people at the dance. That was HUGE. lol

i went to a dance last night at a school that is about an hour away from my school. it was suposed to be big, like there were suposed to be like 40 other schools there, but when we got there it sucked. first the djs didnt show up till like 930 and so they had horrible djs from their school. but when the djs from NY finally showed up the dance was great. i danced with one guy, and then the rest of the dance i was either walking around the school(which is an awsome school, its so cute) and meeting some people or dancing with my friends.

As for our school are middle school dances were always way super fun! But then this year they have totally sucked! No one goes to the HS dances....and its way boring! I've gone to everyone and its like there are MAYBE 60 people there if we're lucky! No fun at all!

We only have 3 dances a year at my school, Homecoming, Sadie Hawkins and Prom. Homecoming and Sadie Hawkins are in the gym and anyone can come, so they're usually full of um, provocative female underclassmen, to put it nicely. Prom is only for juniors and seniors, and is at a ballroom, so it's way better than the other dances.

We usually don't have dances but the one that we did have this year was super fun. Other than that no one is interested in any dance besides prom.

We have dances where they combine two grades, every other month. I always dance with a big group of friends, both girls and guys. But I have yet to dance with a guy by myself. Most of my friends have but the guys I want to dance with are always dancing with other people. It's so hard!
