School Bus has left

It's back to school for the girls this morning.

They wanted to ride the bus Last year the traffic for the first day was horrible so I didn't mind at all.

They woke up excited and ready, overflowing backpacks of stuff and another school year starts.

I haven't meet their teachers but we have an open house Thursday. Hopefully I'll get good reports from the girls this afternoon.

I always hate to see the bus on the 1st Day of School.

I always get choked up! My DD will be in 8th Grade and my DS will be in 4th and I still get all misty.

Since I have to be in work at 7:15 every day, I go in late on the first two days of school. Its a tradition for me.

My kids don't go back until August 29th.

Wow, I know I will be sad this year...

This is the first year that BOTH of my kids will go on the bus..

Kindergartener and second grader.. scary that my baby is that big!

They do grow up fast. My baby is in 2nd grade and her sister is in 5th. Next year she'll be in middle school.

I'm glad to hear they were excited. Mine don't go back until Sept. 4, ugh.

DS can't wait to go back and see his friends. He's counting the days...2 to go!
