Scholastic books from SR

These I thought would be a great deal . Spend 11.98 get paid 9.00 from SR call and cancel and getting a shipping lable and then have it refunded to the account . Sounds good right ??????????

Well I call today and I get a young lady very nice but did not want me to cancel my order then said she would but I must keep the books . I said I didn't want to and she said no shipping lable . I argued and I got one shipping lable then I asked to speak to managment and finally got two shipping lables . I have to call back in 4 weeks to have items refunded to my account .

To be honest this is a MESS . I will never do one of these offers agian .

Just forwarning the new commers on the new way this company is doing bussiness . (BTW this was the Disney and Veggi tale books )

I have NEVER had a problem with any of the Scholastic offers, and I've probably done 5 of them through SR. I always get credit right away too. A couple I have kept the books, and paid for them, once I got the return shipping lable and sent back (ornaments) and twice they told me to give the books to a local charity. I have never been charged either, except for the initial shipments that I have opted to pay for. I never call back, and it has not been a problem. Weird how everybody get totally different answers to their situations!

Oh I will say sR gave credit very fast . So nothing on them totally Scholastics fault on this .

What's happening to me now is totally NOT sunshine's fault, but a problem with Scholastic. On the ornaments, they had already shipped out the big box when I canceled and told me just to refuse the shipment, which I did. This was in like November and they are still billing me for the whole thing. I wrote to their customer service so hopefuly they will resolve it.

Other than that I've not had problems with any of their offers, and Maybelle and mom2dea0813 are right -- SR credits Scholastic offers really fast!
