We are about to reach our 60 days out reservation day. I was wondering if anyone knows where to find a schedule for the nighttime spectaculars in July. Are they posted yet? Or is there a probable schedule to reference?

Also, does anyone have a guess if they will honor the EMH at DCA on July 17th? Has anyone ever had EMH canceled during their stay and been compensated in some way? We accidentaly planned a trip during the 60th anniversary week and are trying to make the best of all the craziness.

If anyone has any any other suggestions for a multi generational trip with 1-7 year old kids I'd love to hear it! We are happy to see the 60th stuff but are really there to just have fun, not to buy out the stores to sell on ebay.

THANK YOU!

Schedules are generally posted 6 weeks out for DL. Yeah, makes no sense to me either that you can book the dining without the schedules but that's how it is. Your best bet is to reference the weeks leading up to your trip that are available. Summer is pretty consistent hours by July (full operating schedules because it is all packed) as you can see in the current Disneyland schedule here https://disneyland.disney.go.com/calendars/month/2015-06-01/ and from what I've seen the entertainment schedules are very consistent day to day. No idea if there with some special exception on July 17. Btw, EMH can in rare instances move between the parks so you aren't guaranteed DCA EMH on July 17th. We've never had EMH cancelled so I wouldn't be looking for any compensation to come. Not sure if they "reserve the right to cancel EMH" or anything like that, they would literally have thousands of angry guests if they cancelled EMH - I just looked up the link here https://disneyland.disney.go.com/guest-services/extra-magic-hour-early-admission/ and it is subject to " capacity, cancellation and other restrictions" fyi so it sounds like they could theoretically cancel and no compensation need be given. But I've never heard of EMH being cancelled. Good luck with your planning, it's going to help a lot that you are on top of it now instead of finding it out after you get to the parks!

No one really knows what the parks have planned at this point for the actual anniversary, but it would not surprise me if it resulted in no EMH that morning. Last year, they did have DL's regularly scheduled EMH/MM on July 17th, but they weren't really promoting that anniversary. Given the crowds that shows up in advance of the 50th anniversary, I would not be surprised if DLR opted to forgo EMH in DCA to enable them to better manage crowds.
