Evening all, hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

We'll round the weekend off with a few more colour changes, with CinCrisis and myself (clappyclaps) now at pink (with a few others not far off either), and ShannyMcB who has jumped ahead to red!



Our latest scene-stealing sidekick is none other than Thackery Binx from Hocus Pocus:



As a cat lover, I couldn't let Binx go without a mention!

Binx was once a boy who, when trying to save his younger sister Emily, was turned into an immortal cat by Winifred Sanderson cursed to live for all eternity. He spent every halloween guarding the Sanderson house in order to stop the sisters from returning. After failing to stop Max Dennison, his sister Dani and friend Allison, Binx acts as a guide to help them defeat the Sanderson sisters. After the sisters are defeated, Binx's soul is free to be with his sister.

Binx's human form is played by Sean Murray, who is most known for playing Tim McGee in NCIS. However Binx's voice is portrayed by Jason Marsden, both in cat form and was also used to dubbed Sean Murray's voice as the human Binx. Marsden has been a voice actor in a number of Disney animated features including Max Goof in A Goofy Movie.

Fun fact - around 8 real life black cats were used in the film to play Binx and filmmakers shot any cat speaking scenes with a real cat initially, before adding a CGI head afterwards. The names of the real cats were Stimpy, Felix, Mad Cat, Clyde, Killer, Rio, Tom-Cat and Fraidy Cat.

Thanks everyone for the warm wishes and get well messages. I am almost entirely recovered from the flu! And yes, it is rough pregnant considering the limitations in medicines you can take. @Twilight Sparkle , we are moving to the Memphis area!

Yay for Binx! I was lucky enough to live in Salem, and that town is crazy for the Sanderson sisters. Lots of wonderful black kitties around to pet. Squeezed in 60 minutes around putting up Halloween decorations this weekend. I love the fall.
