Just discovered this little film which compares some scenes from the Jungle Book and other Disney animated movies.

Apparently, some scenes were reused almost identically, just with different characters and backgrounds. One scene even is repeated in Junglebook, just with different backgrounds.

Some of the film is bit abstract, but I still found it interesting and would love to hear what you think about it.

My theory is that they first filmed a little boy and then painted over Christopher Robin and later re-used the same film for Mowgli.

In one scene, the tree trunk the two boys walk over also looks almost identical.

Evidently Disney does this a bit. The dance scene in Beauty and the Beast is a copy of the ending dance scene in Sleeping Beauty.

That was really cool! I would have never caught those similarities, but boy they sure stand out side by side.

I would never have noticed that on the movies... Though I have seen it on things like Phineas & Ferb or Imagination Movers

It was a interesting fact that caught attention of one alert member here. :)
