Scattered/Isolated T-Storms @ WDW

While we were there in June a couple years ago it rained everyday (except one) at 2 or 3 in the afternoon. It was really nice though it cleared out the parks a little and cooled us down some. The storms didn't last a long time mostly just 30mins to an hour. And yes there was thunderstorms and some were bad but there are plenty of places to go in all the parks incase of rain. Just remember the ponchos since the rain comes out of no where and you might be on a ride and when you get off it could be pouring.

If the % is 30 or even 40% its really unlikely it will rain all day. It will just do that usual afternoon pour and be done with. IF it does rain all day, its unlikely it will rain any other days that week. We will not get a rained out week.. until Fall probably.

But yes, we NEED the rain BADLY, many parts of FL are in Severe Drought and on very tight restrictions.. my poor lawn! It looks to be a very hot, dry and fire riddled summer for us.

Yes - Orlando's weather is much like ours in Baton Rouge....

Yesterday's 4p Thunderstorm was quite impressive wasn't it! The German Foreign Exchange Student was QUITE impressed.....we had to go to Track/Field Banquet so we were out in it...and passed some police incident on Stumberg and a Fire Truck on Coursey....possibly lightning......

of course it soaked us all for about 2 hours then gone....that's how it is often at WDW.

What I've noticed is it does clear out some WDW visitors....if you weather it... you can count on it clearing out the parks a bit....so a good thing.....

I'll never forget the trip to US/WDW in July.... when EVERY time it rained we had just arrived at an attraction or restaurant....only to have it clear up the minute we were ready to go.....Good Karma!
