This will be our first time camping during Halloween. I looked at photos at decorated sites, and they all seem to be happy, not so scary decorations. Are scary/creepy decorations okay or not? We tend to go all out at home with scary, creepy decorations. DH wants to bring some with us. Has anyone seen sites decorated that way? What are your thoughts?

Most are as you say not so scary. But some are more scary than others. One lady had a full on spook house built. But remember it is Disney and mainly for the kids. So I wouldn't recommend going full on scare the wits out of people. I would also think Disney might say something if you go deep into the macabre. This is going to be our third Halloween at the Fort. Feel free to decorate and have fun. It's really a great time to camp.

1) Bring what you want.
2) Decorate how you want.
3) There are few restrictions, but be kind to the kids who might visit.

So I guess we should leave the severed limbs and fake blood at home,:scared1: lol. We do have some more tame stuff, and it has always been a rule at our house not to scare the little kids.

Was specifically told that "gore" decorations such as severed limbs and fake blood is not allowed. I would think as long as you are following your already established home rules you should be fine.
