Scary characters

I just thought it would be fun to know- which characters are your kids scared of? When we took our 2 y/o DS to WDW (his 3rd trip), he was terrified of the face characters!! He loved the costumed ones, but wouldn't go near the face characters. Buzz and Woody scared the living daylights out of him too!

We had the same thing - DD was deathly afraid of the Face characters but LOVED all the stuffed characters. We couldn't figure it out.

the ONLY charachter my dd-5 was afraid of was Snow White's evil step mother at MGM she was completely in charachter and scolded her for not smiling, she then cried for a half an hour.

Both of my DS's were afraid of the Queen of Hearts-would not have their pictures taken with her. Her body language and actions were kinda mean and they just freaked out. Makes me laugh when I think of it.

I don't have any kids, and I'm 31 years old, but I was pretty scared of Jafar at MNNSHP...

My husband and I dressed up like Aurora and Phillip and Jafar tried to whisk me away. He even (jokingly) tried to take my wedding ring off when I explained I was with my prince.

He was very evil and creepy!

The Big Bad Wolf was up to no good that night too.

Gotta love the villains!

The one that continues to frighten ds is Cruella! He thought this most recent trip that he was brave enough to say "Woof" to Cruella. Let's just say that he found out that he wasn't! She was just too convincing!

My DD (almost 4) would not shake hands or take pictures with any of the villians, but the only one that sent her cowering behind me and sending out blood curdling screams of terror was Captain Hook! That happened last Sept and again in December and she still says she won't ride Pirates in May because he might be there.

KMH1 and Trish5768 - I'm 32 and I was afraid of the Queen of Hearts. I don't even like to look at my picture with her. Part of what made her really creepy is that I think she was a he - the big arms gave it away. No other character has given me the heebie jeebies like that.

DD3 was afrais of them all at beginning of trip. Even Minnie Mouse who was her self-proclaimed favorite. DD6months couldn't care less.

This time around DD4 1/2 wants to meet all characters, and promises not to be afraid. We will see what happens. Of course DD22months is our adventurous one, so she will probably guilt big sis into seeing all characters!
