CONGRATULATIONS!!!
That is wonderful! It took us 4 years- 2 of those with an RE to get DD, and it was so hard, so I can't imagine how hard 11 years must have been. Just enjoy your pregnancy. I think the good thing about trying so long is that we are happy about the yucky pregnancy symptoms that others hate. Drink LOTS of water- all through your pregnancy (it will help keep your legs and feet from swelling), but especially at WDW. If you find yourself nauseous, try Lemonade- that was about the only thing that worked for me. Sometimes eating a little snack can help the nausea too. You can eat deli meats if they are heated/toasted, but not cold. The toasting supposedly kills the listeria. I stayed away from them entirely though. Statistics show that although listeriosis is rare, pregnant women are 20 times more likely to get it than a non-pregnant person and a full 27% of all cases involve pregnant women. You also don't want any of your meats too rare, and definitely no sushi. Stay away from caffeine, especially in the 1st trimester, but if you can do it, it is better to keep away from it your whole pregnancy. I didn't give up buffets when I was pg- my RE and OB never mentioned that and I never even thought about the fact that they might be a problem. I craved Indian food constantly when I was pg for some reason, so I ate at the buffet quite a bit. Yikes Laniesmom, the scent of lavendar completely made me sick when I was pg. Just the thought of pulling it out and smelling it still makes me cringe
Just don't overdo it trying to keep up with your family. You may tire out more easily than you are used to. If you need to stop and sit for awhile, do it. You can all stop to see a show, or you can just sit and people watch and let them run around for a while. Have a wonderful time and a wonderful pregnancy!
