ive seen a couple of scary things.

i was working at gift stop and i walked backstage to get more ice from the cooler, and there were a whole bunch of fire trucks and ambulances parked out behind the seas. apparently, someone had dived too low in the scuba diving experience and had a heart attack.

a young boy had a heat stroke just infront of camera center and collapsed on the ground. his parents helped him to stand, which obviusly wasn't smart because he started vomitting and generally not looking too well. we had to call the "ambulance" people and keep people away. it was scary because little kids kept asking what was wrong with him and why he wouldn't open up his eyes. he was okay once the paramedics got him out of the heat.

uhm..the first night i heard the holiday tag for the end of illuminations. it was so loud it shook our doors down in the front of the park. scared me half to death.

and the night we were out late collecting wheel chairs from the monorail and bus stop. the lights all of a sudden went off, as well as the park music. a dark space ship earth is not pretty. i had this experience before by walking through the park to get to where the cm's park their cars. i got as far as the fountains before all the lights in future world shut off, as well as the music. i was terrified and walked as fast as i could. when i reached the bridge that connects world showcase and future world, i turned around and couldn't even see spaceship earth anymore. i only had to go to mexico because cm parking is behind it, but still. that was scary.

my scariest experience as a guest would probably have to be when we took my nephew on everest. he was only 4 but he was tall enough and wanted to ride it so badly, so me and my brother agreed. he loves big monsters like the kraken and sharks, etc, so we figured he'd love the yeti. and he was just fine with the ride up until we got to the part where you see the yeti's shadow ripping up the tracks. i have never seen a child that terrified in my life and i never want to see him or any child make that face ever again. he was shaking and crying when we got off, and i felt so bad because i couldn't do anything. now, he wants to ride it again, but i refuse to be the one to sit by him. i love the ride, but it scares me with him on it.

that was the only time when my sister got scared on teh ride, she was 8.

One year we took my dad's side of the family to disney with us and had met up with my two older cousins in MK and we went and rode HM and we got on the ride as normal but when we went to get off the ride this cast member was pretty far away so i started talking to my cousin and turned around and BAMM he was in my face so i practically took off running....then the screct door [for the cast members] when your walking from the exit of the ride to get back to the park this CM just comes out of that door and i screamed so loud to this day i walk as fast as i can to get in and out of my doom buggy and i practically run past that screct door, but if it weren't for that cast member i probally would have never know that door was there.

BAT. WEEKEND.

My lord

We went on the exact same day as bat weekend... I wasnt scared but all of the "bats" annoyed the heck out of me because they made the line for "HM" really long (and if you guys have not noticed yet i am a big fan of hm)
and then they were all wearing spandex and some people really looked stupid (made me laugh) and it was just a mess...
Some kids as little as...6 weeks were dressed in spandex and hauled around in their criby things.

But I Guess thats what made my trip a one to remember

Not scary for me but since some of ya'll are mentioning experiences at HM...

On MNSSHP this past September, me and Jess were going on Haunted Mansion when we spotted UtahMama's (DIS legend) bag. Anyways, we went into the dark room and this kid with a scary mask just kept giving me this creepy stare and was breathing really loudly. Turns out it was UtahMama's son, heh.

Speaking of that, me and Jess got cars right behind her, and when the ride stopped to let on a wheelchair person, we were basically yelling at each other talking about the DIS and how our trips were going and such. So much fun. :) I'll never forget that.

Okay, well wasn't that off-topic. :)

Well, last time we went. Me and my sisters boyfriend rode Everest, and he had dropped his wallet and when we had walked all the way over by where the parade is he realized he didnt have it. So him and my sis, walked all the way back to it. And luckily the woman that had seated us, had found it. And again luckily they had a picture in the front of his wallet of them at prom together!!

Well I haven't had any really scary moments, but some embarrasing ones. Lets just say I wasnt quite in tuned with my body at the time.

I guess thats what happens when you go 50 times in 3 years.

I'm guessing you're a Floridian? Holy cannoli.

My scariest experience was in November, when we had just gotten off the boat at the Contemporary and Mom and I were waiting outside the bathrooms near the snack bar. It was so freaking weird, one minute we were talking and stuff, barely doing anything, and then my heart started racing, my breath got short, and I got a little dizzy. I thought it would pass in a second, but it got WORSE in the elevator and then the escalator and I could barely stand up while we were waiting for the monorail. It was terrifying, I had no idea what was wrong and didn't now if I was dying or having a panic attack or what. It passed after a few minutes of sitting still (lying down at parts) on the monorail, but it was still really scary.

It's not really scary, but I was a little freaked out by it. I was on Tower of Terror, and it started going up. We just finished watching the first scene and the door shut, but we didn't move. It was pitch black and I had no idea what was going on. I didn't know whether it broke down or it just stopped for a second. Finally after a couple seconds (the longest seconds of my life!!!) the ride started again and it didn't stop again. But it was freaky.

once in 02 i was near test track, and then i look back my family was gone, i was
so scared and i was only 5. i dont quite know how i met back up with them?:scared1: :sad1: :scared:

Oh my god, I completely forgot. The Tower of Terror. I must have blocked that memory better than I thought. The second time I rode it I was so freaking scared that all I could do was curl into a fetal position on the bench and shriek mentally, begging it to stop. And then, of course, everybody laughed at the picture when we got off.

I'm still nervous riding in elevators. .____.

We were in Magic kingdom at the time.
My sister wanted to go on Splash Mountain SO bad, so we went on it, and then she said she wanted to go on it again. We didnt mind, so we were about to get in line when she started crying and screaming. She screamed for like 10 minutes, and we were like WHAT THE? and my mom had her back surgery like 15 days before we left for disney, and she got a motorized scooter thing, so we put my sis in there, (shes 4) and her face started turning red like RED. So, she started shaking, and she said I WANT WATER GIVE ME WATER! So, my brother got her water, and she throws it down saying ITS TOO COLD! I DONT LIKE COLD WATER I HATE THIS! So, it was like she was having a nervous break down! But she was actually just really hot, and almost had to go to the hospital. She needed water badly, and she didnt drink it. So, we gave her some pop, and a CM helped us by giving us pop, and water. She was SO nice and helpful. My sister finally drank water. So she was okay.

That also happened to me too. I was in MGM and I didnt eat much breakfast, and it was SO hott, and we were in line for Lights motors action! and i couldnt even stand! My mom bought a turkey sandwich for me, so I ate that and felt alot better.

I got my wallet stolen. Well, not stolen, lost kind of. I left it on the Magical Express. We just arrived in Florida, but thank GOD all my money wasnt in there. but 70 dollars was! my mom was FURIOUS. and it was the first day we were there, so it didnt get off to such a good start.

Our family rented 2 little speedboats at the contempary. I went with my dad, and since Im old enough, i got to drive it. WEll, i started driving it, and it went reallyyy slow. and there are crocs in the water, so I thought we were running out of gas! I was so scared, we had to go and get another one. Turns out it was one of the slow ones, but I was freaked because I thought we were stuck.

Yep. Thats pretty much my scary experiences at disney. and now my hand hurts very bad. :goodvibes

my dad had to hold me down

VERY SCARY!

i nearly fainted from dehydration in the Mexico Pavillion (which was strange since i was drinking my water throughout the morning and felt weird after getting off Soarin')

This is going to be a stupid question but they have a bat weekend? Where people come dressed as bats? Please tell me i'm wrong.

Not much in disney, bar the chair lifts at BB, scares me. Not even the severe thunderstorms(because in britain we don't get anything as amazing as them) infact i'm one of the sad people who sit out on the balcony gawping in awe and ooohing and ahhing with each lightning strike despite the fact the thunder is shaking the building and the rain drenches you.

I am constantly paranoid about EE breaking down when we're going backwards or on the big climb which i hate, RnR breaking down when i'm on a loop and ToT breaking down when we're in the pitch black climb parts.

Thunderstorms in Florida are so amazing... it makes the rain enjoyable! i really hate the rain in the UK because it's cold and wet and cold... but in Florida it's refreshing!

anyway, I remembered another about getting lost in Epcot. My parents said they were leaving because i would go on a ride and i could stay there... well they left to go to the toilet and 2 stayed behind to watch me from a distance but i thought they left so i walked to the front of the park (taking shortcuts across the grass...) and ended up missing them. In the end a CM found me and they found my parents and they also gave me a Mickey Mouse toy :)

The scariest thing that has happened to me was when we got stuck in an elevatoer at CR. We had just arrived and was going up to our room and it stopped. Eventully the doors just opened and we were on like the 6th floor and I insisted on using the steps to get to the 9th floor. After that I was paranoid the whole trip thinking things were going to break down. It is not exacly the first thing you want to do when you arrive at WDW.
