I'm glad this finally got resolved.

. He was very professional through all of this. He said you have to give them a time limit to do something and then make your move. That's what happened last time. We pushed and pushed and they backed off and made light of the whole thing. And of course when there were no more notes for the 2 weeks they thought it was over.
I agree what a great tenth b'day present for Chloe! My oldest dd is also ten. What a neat age!
Tantor said:The school has offered me councilling as I had a meltdown the other night. I guess it was all the stress I was under and never realized it.
We have also asked that if the child is in the same grade as Chloe that they NOT be in the same class next year. Principal told me that she realized that too.
I think the last principal made light of the situation and just didn't push enough and just hoped it went away. This new principal pushed for what we wanted (a camera was going in and police were coming in) which made all the difference.
My DH is the rock in all this. He was very professional through all of this. He said you have to give them a time limit to do something and then make your move. That's what happened last time. We pushed and pushed and they backed off and made light of the whole thing. And of course when there were no more notes for the 2 weeks they thought it was over.
I have also relayed (via Principal) to the parents of the child a thankyou for the apology as I think they needed to hear that to help them heal. I was so mad at this child before but now I have empathy for this kid and the parents.
I hope the therapy helps this child become a better person.
You have a big heart to have concern for the child that caused your DD (and your family) such stress. Tantor said:The school has offered me councilling as I had a meltdown the other night. I guess it was all the stress I was under and never realized it.

Tantor said:By the way I went out and bought rose's for the Principal, Vice Principal and Chloe's teacher.
We are also writing a letter to the Director of the school board about how this principal handled everything (in 4 days too) and how professional she is. We want to make sure it goes on her record.
