Scared..Don't know why!

DH and I are taking our second trip to Disney this Sept. Our trip last year I was all excited about,but for some reason I'm all most frighted about this one. Can't really put my finger on it. We are meeting some family there. My DH's DD'S and DGD..but I get along fine with them so thats not it.We are staying at the POP..haven't been there but I know that's not it.It has got to the point where I'm not sure I even want to go now.We are flying down, but I love to fly. I just really wish I could figure out what it is! If we hadn't paid for everything already, I would think of just not going. Has anyone else ever felt like this?

It's probably just anxiousness. I'm more worried about this trip (we leave tomorrow AM) than I have been about any previous trips. I think it's because I'm going with some family members that have never been before, and I want to make sure it's wonderful for them. I was never this nervous when it was just dh and I.

With all of the planning that goes into a WDW vacation, I think it's totally normal for this to happen. We've been to WDW 17 times now & with every trip, I become a nervous wreck about 2 weeks before we leave......

Do your best to relax.......everything will be magical!

I think there is so much planning that goes into a WDW trip. I know the more I read about WDW, the resorts, other's experiences, the restaurants, etc. etc. I get overwhelmed! I am worried about our trip too and wonder sometimes if it is all worth it. Maybe part of your anxiety is from the fear that you won't have a great time? Do you plan the trip for everyone? I know I do and there is always that pressure that everyone have a great time and be happy. Hopefully as you get closer your anxiety will ease and you will go and it will be the best trip ever!

Actually, yes....I have been planning this trip for 2 years now (probably more than that) and there have been times I'm thinking maybe I should just forget it and stay home.

For me though, it's usually after I have read about rude people in the parks or scary things about people wanting to harm your kids there or whatever. Or that it's going to be so crowded you aren't going to be able to breathe because of the amount of hte people because we are going in summertime. I then think, is it worth it? Maybe we should just stay home and not have to deal with any of it.

Of course, the kids are excited to go (we haven't gone on a vacation in about 5 years), so we won't be cancelling and I *DO* want to go, just kind of dreading it in a way even though I've got most contingencies covered and am excited. It's a mixed emotion type of thing.

You may be worried about "What if I don't get to everything?"
"What if I don't eat at the best restaurants" or "What if I don't optimize my line waits?".
Don't worry...you'll be back and you have a chance to do the things you miss.

Also, read the threads about the "Magical Moments"...that will help relieve your anxieties.

I get nervous before a trip to WDW b/c I get worried everything won't go perfectly. Like the towncar driver won't show up, something w/go wrong at check-in, etc. I'm fine once we get to WDW though.
