Scanning tickets into App help please?

when I first loaded the app it prompted me to but I wasn't ready. Now I can not find where to do it.

Click on your character icon bottom of your home screen. Then click on my tickets.
Then click link tickets top left side.

In the app, make sure you're logged into your account. Pull up the little Mickey head from the bottom. In the Park Info & Entry section, click My Tickets. In that screen, click "Link Tickets & Passes". That will activate your camera and allow you to scan in the barcodes from your tickets one at a time.

Sorry to hijack...So can you load tickets before you have activated them? I.e. while still at home?

I tried with my Halloween party ones but it didn't work. Just came up with an error message.

Yes. We did this with no problem. Two pieces of info though:

1) In the app, it will show that your tickets expire in two weeks. Do not worry. The dates rolls forward every day until you enter the park on your first day. Then that dates holds.

2) You will still need to present your paper tickets at the turnstiles, at least the first entry. I tried the app version and right after they scanned, the CM asked to use the actual paper tickets. After that, I just always had the paper tickets out for entry.

I'm guessing because those are special event tickets, it doesn't work the same way as the general park admission tickets. ??
