Scanning into Lightning Lane

Hi everyone,

This is probably a weird question, but when using a DAS return time, when you scan your magic band at the lightning lane, is it pretty obvious that you're using a DAS rather than a genie +? Like, is there a different color/process when scanning in?

If you have a LL and you're within your return window, all bands scan green. With DAS, the first person to scan (must be the one with the medical issue) gets a blue light, the cast member verifies it, hits a button, tells the rest of the group to scan, and everyone else comes up green. You can also get a blue light for other reasons, like being too early, too late, or not having a LL reservation. In my experience they're pretty discrete about it.

I agree with philharmagic fan.
They are pretty discrete. When the person registered for DAS scans in, their picture pops up on a screen facing the CM that is not in view of anyone waiting to scan in.
The CM compares the picture with the person who scanned in and then clears the blue light ; the rest of the group can scan then.
Some attractions have a second scan point before boarding. For those, anyone in your group can scan first.
