Anyone know why there is green around the edges of this picture? I don't see it on the actual paper. Do I need to scan at a higher resolution? (I think this scanned at 300, maybe 150 I can't remeber now) Or is it just because I have a cheap scanner? :D

Was the top closed tightly?

Well, as closed as it would go......do you think if I put something on top to hold it down more tightly that would help?

Even better, if you can cover the entire thing up or shut off the lights in the room, that would eliminate any stray light getting in.

It could just be because it's a bad scanner, but try this first anyway.

Also, try scanning nothing and see what you get.
