PLEASE be Aware that there is a new member of the DIS this person has not posted but is PMing Private Messaging fellow DIS VMKers and telling them she has inferno and if they will give her their user name and password she will go into their inventory and take what she likes and leave the inferno!


THIS IS A SCAM!

PLEASE under no Circumstances give anyone your VMK USER name and PAssword or any user name and password for that matter!

Scammers will always be trying to find a new way to take your belongings. The only way to protect yourself is to NEVER GIVE ANYONE YOUR VMK ACCOUNT INFORMATION

The only place you should ever enter your account information is on the VMK sign in page. No matter what someone may be promising you, don't be tricked!

Please report any PM you may receive asking for your account info.

yeah,seriously i was at this post for mt.everest chair and she said i have inferno for it, give me ur member name and password and i will take the chair and leave inferno. i posted back on that thread saying if u just started VMK and u only have 1 post i highly doubt u actually have inferno and she must be pretty dumb because honestly nobody on the VMK boards would EVER fall for something that dumb and cheesy

I am really sorry this happened. I don't know if my response is appropriate for this thread, but...I am just wondering what a 12 year old is doing on Habbo Hotel...? I joined shortly after joining vmk to see what it was all about (I also oversee my child's online activities, which right now consists of vmk & neopets)...on Habbo Hotel there are no restrictions (language, etc.), and the one time I was on I was constantly bothered by others to "hook up." IMO, children should not even be looking at the screen when Habbo is on. But that is JMO.
