Well, when I had a physical for our health insurance- their scales were 4 pounds lighter than my digital and about 1 pound lighter than my dial scale. So since that one was closer to the doctor's scales I stuck with it. When I lose my first 30 pounds- I may switch so I can register 1/2 pounds- but for right now I like the boost of having an extra 3 pounds less than the digital! It's all psychologically linked somehow
