SCAL--help! Updated

So my laptop with SCAL on it is dying Will I need to buy another download to put on the replacement computer? Is there someone I can contact? TIA

I contacted craft edge and they were very helpful They sent me the code so I could load SCAL2 on my new computer without paying a second time Thanks for all your help

You won't have to pay again, but I don't remember exactly how to proceed. When I went from a PC to a Mac, I had to re-purchase, because it was a different operating system, but when I got a new Mac, I just had to download it again - I did not have to pay. I think you may need the activation code they originally sent in an email. This is the main page: http://www.craftedge.com/index.html and then if you can't figure it out, there's a "Support" tab where you can email. them. They are very helpful.

Cheryl - did you get the disc with it? You should be able to switch it to your new computer.

No disc, just the download. I can't remember the "safe place" I put the activation code.

Hmmmm...who did you buy it from? I downloaded i, but they still sent me the disc also.

you have two activations per purchase as long as the computers are the same platform (PC vs Mac).

You can deactiveate it on your current Laptop, and reinstall on your new computer without a problem, but you will need the code.
