SCAL Advice?

Not sure where to post this to get the best response. I broke down and purchased SCAL yesterday. I'm really hoping that its still gonna work with my Cricut. I haven't updated the software on the cricut for probably a year or more. Do you think I'm gonna have any problems? I'm gonna be really disappointed if this doesn't work.

So, you ladies who work in SCAL, can you give me any tricks of using the program? Any advice?

When you cut for the first time it will ask you what version of firmware you have. (It flashes when you turn on the Cricut). From what I've read, the firmware updates should NOT affect using SCAL, I don't think they've got the capability to block third party software with the firmware updates.

I have the latest firmware version and it works just fine. SCAL came out with an update the last time the firmware wasn compatible.

SCAL is Sure Cuts A Lot it is a computer based program that you can use to cut SVGs with paper crafting cutters.

Be aware, if you have a Cricut machine, Provo Craft is in a legal battle with the makers of SCAL. Depending on how that works out, they could be forced to create an update to the software that would block its use with the Cricut machine. If you want the software I would get it soon.
