So looking at the weather it looks like tropical storm Chantal will be getting ready to hit Florida the day after are wedding meaning that we will probably have thunderstorms the day of the wedding... :crazy2: The timing is really terrible, but that's the way things go. My question is, has anyone had their outdoor wedding moved indoors due to weather? I'm just wondering where they might move us to and what to expect. :scared:

Thanks

Thunderstorms are a regular occurrence in the afternoon in Florida. They can be brief. It's too early to tell what Chantal is going to do or determine where she is headed. Your wedding planner should know where the backup venue is and it would already be reserved for this purpose.. It really could be anywhere, such as boardwalk ballroom, yacht and beach ballroom, or even the wedding pavilion.

Latest Chantal reports are that it could hit as early as Friday or might not arrive until next week, and if it arrives, it might come in shambles. Bottom line is too early to worry, and as far as storms go, Disney is possibly the safest place for you to be.

DF just told me your backup location might be on your beo.

Pixie dust.

Thanks, I already checked the BEO, but no luck. I'm not really worried about being safe while we're there just more wanting to be prepared for the back up. I'll be a little disappointed if we get moved inside, but nothing we can do other than cross our fingers and hope it holds off. :confused3

Get in contact with your planner now and check what the back up is, its likely a ballroom, if you find out now and aren't happen you might be able to arrange a better back up.
