SBD - Phase2 & 3

Hi all,

Is anyone on Phase 2 or 3 of SBD and if so how are you finding the weight loss? I am on phase 1 just starting week 2 and on week one lost 7lbs, and I know you can lose upto 10lbs - but when you start to add things back into your diet how does this effect your weight loss?

I am looking to lose about 2stone (28lbs).

I'm behind you (I'm on day 6) so I can't answer your question. I just wanted to bring your post up because I'd love to hear from some who've been on the South Beach Diet longer too!

I'm hoping to be able to lose 1 - 2 pounds a week on phase 2. I know that the kind of immediate weight loss we're seeing now (Hopefully! I weigh on Wednesday morning!) can't continue - but it sure makes a person feel good!

Hi Disykat,

On day 9 now and have not lost anymore than 7lb - but still very pleased with that. Am getting bored of the food choice now, and ready to move onto phase 2 with some more choice.

I still have no cravings for carbs, but they are just so easy - i.e cereal for b'fast and s'wich for lunch!!! so you do have to think about what you eat and plan in advance.

I am on materity leave at the moment (Joshua is 5mts) and back to work on the 1st Oct - so hoping to lose at least another 5lbs before I go back - and I plan to join the gym at work to help get this weight off and tone up!!!!!
