Okay, I just bought my first scrapbook for 12 x 12. I have done several 8.5 x 11's but under some friendly pressure I bought a 12 x 12 album and some page protectors (Michael's is going outta business here so I got a deal.) Anyway, I just remembered that the only Disney albums I could find last year were 12 x 12. I was wondering what they look like this year and what page refills they take. I would really like to know if I can find the refills around here so I can stock up on them while I am down there or watch for sales up here. How well do they hold up? About how many pages have they held in the past? Any information would be gladly accepted. :listen:

I think the disney albums take post bound pages.. I know there was a thread awhile back where someone had figured out the company that makes the refills and posted the information.. but I can't seem to find it, and I am not coming up with anything via search.

You might want to call merchandise services... they maybe able to tell you the manufacturer. 407.363.6200

This year, atleast one of them has a wooden cover (and back) that if I recall correctly, has the park logos on it. I looked on Main St. Megastore for a picture, but they don't have it yet.

You might look at Michael's and see if they sell extension posts.. they let you add more pages.

Sorry, it's not alot of information ..

I couldn't find a manufacturer on my 2005 Disney album but I measured and the pages are a true 12x12 so they should work with Pioneer page protectors (those are the replacements I usually buy). It is a post bound album but the page protectors I buy have the post extenders included. It came with 10 pages. I have the 2003 album and it has held up through numerous viewings by my 2 and 5 year old.

I do remember seeing Disney albums that were 8.5x11 though at the DTD store. I can't remember what they look like since I didn't look at them closely, but I know they had some.

Hope this helps!

Okay, so I should be able to buy refill sheets here which is a good thing. :cool1: I didn't want to get the book and have to buy a load of refills at those wonderful Disney prices and find out I could have gotten them up here for 1/2 price or something. The refill pages I buy also have the posts that come with them so that should be good. I guess I will have wait until then to see if there are any books I like. Thank you so much for the information, it was very helpful.
