SB: Disney photo ??

Getting ready to do my pages for our last cruise. I have lots of purchased pics taken on board by the ship's photographers. I want to have copies made to use in the scrapbook. What way works for you: color copies, reprints of the pics, photomaker, etc? Any trouble getting anyone to make a copy for you because of copyright issues?

I haven't ever tried to copy a copyrighted photo. I have made lots of copies at Kinko's and no one has ever asked me what I was copying. They turn ot just as good as the original. You have to actually touch the page to tell if it's the original or the copy.

I would think reprints, or any method that went through an outside party, would not be allowed.

I'd love to see your pages when you're done. I hope you'll share them with us.

I took mine to Staples and had it copied. As a matter of fact, the nice young gentleman behind the counter copied it for me, and I think it cost less than 50 cents for two full page photos.

[I copied a postcard that Disney sent us w/ Mickey and Minnie on it that said they were "waiting for you!", cropped it and put it on a piece of cardstock and mailed it to my two sister's house. My nieces and nephews were convinced that Mickey had invited them to come play. Only trick was learning to write like Mickey--he only has three fingers!]

I scanned mine and edited out the disney logo, then I just took the disk in and had it copied from disk.

I scanned mine & had it printed from Shutterfly.com -- complete with Disney copyright logo.

When I took WDW passes & pins to Staples to have color copied, they were looking them over good to see if they should copy them. They finally did when one guy said "she's a scrapbooker". I guess that means I'm OK!!!!!!!!!

Another vote for scanning and printing through Shutterfly or Ofoto. If you can, share your layouts. I'm going to be doing my cruise pages soon!
