Hey, hey, there's that condescending Christian attitude again. Sorry, what "lie" is he living? He's no different (technically) than the Jewish plumber that comes in to fix the church sink, or anything like that.

Condescending..hardly.

He says he doesn't live a lie and refuses to do things that would be pure hospitality.

The Jewish Plumber isn't participating in a worship service when he goes to fix a church sink.

When my repairmen/women come--I don't have them do a mini-mass before entering.

He is participating in worship. (I am sorry--but playing music for a worship service is participating).

He asked opionions and he got them.

He doens't want to be "forced" to do things--has let friendships dissipate b/c of excessive use of the "L" word...but he obviously can tolerate it for a price. If he is paid, he will be in a church. If he isn't then he avoids it like the plague.

And if calling a spade a spade is condescending...I'll be at confession on Saturday. I'm not of the opinion that it is though.
