Although there is good and bad in all races, I really think some white people here and everywhere alike need to get their head out of their azzes and stop thinking that ALL Muslims are terrorist. Do you think the thousands upon thousands of lynching, burning and raping done by the KKK and other RACIST Groups were small incidents...I think NOT!

I hate that there is a need for my DH to defend our country.

I hate that there are people that begrudge the piddly pay and the benifits he gets. He earns them dodging bullets.

I hate that he has unresolved issues over the things he has seen and the things he had to do.

I hate that he has nightmares that I can't soothe.

I hate that my girls don't understand why he has to go and have problems because of it.

I hate that my family doesn't understand that the military can short you pay and you don't get it back for 7months.

I hate when people tell me I have a cooshy life and the govt takes care of me for my DH doing very little and I shouldn't complain since my DH knew what he was getting into when he signed up and it isn't like we need a military and BLAH BLAH BLAH!

All of these go for me, too, especially the last one. I have a few more:

I think that people who supported the start of the war in Iraq and yet are against reinstituting the draft are some of the biggest hypocrites around. If you think we need to "win" this war, then at least support the measures it would take to let us "win" it.

I think GWB feels it's his moral duty to erase the separation of Church and State--and, of all the things I despise about him, I despise this the most.

ALL religions are right and they are ALL wrong. If there was ONE correct religion, well that's what we'd all be, right?

I think it's sad that, in my experience here in Nashville, the same people who who condemn ALL Muslims are the same ones that run around discussing how terribly born-again Christians are discriminated against.

Sometimes I am terribly jealous of my best friend because her family is ultra-rich.

Sometimes I really don't think I can stand this deployment one more day (we are on month 13 so far...). This makes me feel terrible, because as hard as the girls and I have it, I know DH is having it twice as hard over there.

I hate people who speak out on things such as stem cell research without knowing any specifics. a.k.a. "I hate stem cell research" Why would you hate all of stem cell research? At least understand the difference between the kinds. Embryonic stem cell research does not equal all of stem cell research

I'm totally for gay marriages/unions/whatever you want to call them.

I don't agree that abortion is murder. If a girl/woman makes a mistake and chooses that option rather than adoption or raising the child, so be it. It's her body to do with as she chooses. HOWEVER, once is a mistake. More than once is a habit. I can't imagine that someone would WANT to have more than one abortion though.

I'm pro-death penalty.

I know absolutely nothing about politics and would have to think for a while to name our VP. My DS14 knows more than I do.

I'm not registered to vote (haven't been since I moved out of the county I grew up in) and don't care because I think they all lie anyway and voting would be for the lesser of two evils. Therefore, I really can't complain about how the government is run.

Against affirmative action -- give the job to the person who worked hardest for it.

I think there are a lot of closed-minded, holier-than-thou people on these boards that I would probably want to smack in real life

Would they rather I have a child I can't support and become a burden on the state? I don't care what goes on in other people's bedroom, if a relationship is loving then it is right regardless of the genders of those involved. There are horrible horrible diseases that might possibly be cured through this research...where do I sign up to donate some eggs for this research?
