I finally got my 2003 Unofficial guide from Amazon.com and while reading it find out that Disney will no longer deliver your packages to your Disney hotel. Is this true?? I LOVED this perk when you stayed at a Disney hotel because I shop a lot (I mean alot). And I'm not a shopper that can get it all done in one trip, so I can end up with lots of bags in one day.

Can anyone confirm that they no longer deliver packages to Disney hotels?? I know about being able to send your packages to the front of the park and then pick them up as you leave, but I really enjoyed being able to walk into my Disney hotel and have all the bags there. Will my only choice be to send packages to the front??

We were just there in August and they did deliver to the resort. They no longer will deliver right to your room unless you are staying in Concierge but they do deliver to the gift shop in the resort you are staying at.

Like the other poster said all you have to do now is go to the hotel gift shop to pick up your purchases. Very easy. Plus if there was something wrong with your purchase you could exchange it right then and there if necessary.

Last year they delivered to the gift shop (like everyone else says). We stayed at CBR and it was a long walk to the gift shop but it was still better than carrying it from MK!!!!

It's been that way for a few years, actually. We haven't had anything delivered right to our room for quite some time. Picking it up in the gift shop is easy and convenient, though.

We were there Labor Day and they were still delivering to the resort by 2pm the next day.
