Saw Nemo The Musical Yesterday

We also saw Nemo at that "very first" 10 AM show on Sunday. I never saw Tarzan, so can't compare it, but I very much enjoyed the Nemo show. I highly recommend it, especially at AK where there isn't a full day's worth of stuff to do anyway (at least at this time of year with short lines).

Bumping cause even with all the detail (from the other sites), I still would like to know what type of music is played.

One of the reviews indicated that Crush does a Reggaeton song (i like reggae, but not sure what a reggaeton song is).

Several comments stated "I liked it".....or "I didn't like it".
This doesn't help me...
(if you like Opera or RAP....I probably wouldn't like it......if you like the Clash, Buddy Holly, the Dixie Chicks and James McMurtry....then you have really ecletic, obscure & good taste and whatever you like, I'd probably like.)

Approx. how many songs are in the show, and what type of songs are they?

The music was all pretty standard musical-type numbers, like what's in the Aladdin and Lion King movies. Yes, Crush's song was done in a reggae-style, but was not something that I imagine anyone would have strong negative opinions about. There were probably 5 "major" songs, with another few real short ones where a character just sings a few lines.

The whole show was about 40 minutes, but that was a dress rehearsal and they said they are still tinkering with it. They told us going in it would be around 30 minutes, so they probably are cutting some stuff.

Good friend of mine, who used to play Poca at the live show, is now playing Flo. She is understudying Dory as well, but I doubt she's had a shot at that yet.

I am a big fan of VOTLM and was not a big fan of Tarzan Rocks. I am looking forward to this one. I wish they could have kept with the Dinoland theme in this location though.

We are excited to see this new show in December! For us at least, I feel sure we'll like it better than Tarzan Rocks. We would have left in the middle of the performance because we really did not enjoy it at all but we didn't want to be rude.
