If I cannot get a reservation at Savi's Workshop, do they have a wait list I can sign up for in case of cancellations? If so, has anyone had luck going that route? Thanks.

No wait list I'm aware of. You'll just have to keep checking back. Or, some people have reported being able to go at rope drop and asking about availability.

I've been checking for 3 weeks now for our date and NOTHING... so frustrating... I logged on right at midnight the day it opened for me and still couldn't get anything...

Darn......that does not sound good. If I can't get a reservation, I guess I will buy a legacy lightsaber but I really wanted to create my own.

I can’t say this enough.....you have to be persistent. I did get a reservation for our trip at the end, but we decided to build one at the beginning. I checked every day, multiple times a day for a month and a half. About 2-3 days before our trip i started seeing appts pop up for different times and after several pop ups an evening one popped up, and i snagged it. So you have to check a lot, and they more frequently pop up the closer you get to your vacation. Even during vacation. Having said that, when we went to build(only I was building, my hubby was watching) the CM asked him several times if he wanted to build also because they had open slots. So even day off, you can get lucky.
Good luck and keep trying. It is a great experience.

Hoping someone knows the answer: The reservation I made for Savi's has my daughter's name on it instead of my son's name. I clicked on her name in error when I made the reservation. There is no way to change this in MDE, so do I need to call to get this changed or can my son just use that time slot instead of my daughter? thank you!

Try now ! I was able to get one for June 30th! Also - they didn’t make me pre pay ? It was just a credit card reservation guarantee . For some reason I thought I would have to pre pay

You can cancel up until 24 hours of your reservation. You pay at check in

I made a reservation for 2 builders and when I called to change it to 1 they said they didn’t want to mess with the rez for fear of messing it up and that I can just tell the CMs at check in we have 1 builder and 1 guest. Is this going to be a problem?

When is your reservation? A lot of availability popped up, you should check to see if a res for your date is open, cancel the other one then reserve the one slot. I wouldn’t wait until check in because their policy says you’re automatically billed/obligated to pay unless you cancel 24 hours in advance. If you’re at GE a few days prior to your build day you could check with the cm’s at savi’s but I wouldn’t bank on them canceling day of. If it was a $10 charge so be it but $220 is a significant amount.
