Savi's - any way to check out lightsabers before you commit?

I am curious about checking out Savi's on my next visit, but I am not sure I want to commit to purchasing a saber until I have had a chance to see them personally and determine they are worth $199.

Since the WDW reservation system asks for a credit card on file when reserving a slot, and since by all accounts, the space is very small with no room to accommodate window-shoppers, I am assuming that if you show up and decide "these sabers aren't worth $200," you're going to get charged whether you make one or not.

Assuming that is correct, are there any workarounds? Anyplace you can check out the sabers before committing?

Well few thigns come to mind. First of all check out YouTube. If you want to actually see one, I'd say head to a Batuu at least a day before your reservation, I am sure you can find somebody with one that wouldn't mind showing you, or ask a CM, thought I don't think they have any out on display as it's part of the overall experience.

You've got 24 hours or basically until midnight the night before to cancel. Only you can decide if it's worth it.

Cancellations
A valid, accepted credit card number is required at the time of booking. You must cancel at least one day prior to your reservation to avoid a per builder cancellation fee. If you fail to timely cancel and are a no-show, the credit card provided at the time of reservation will be charged $199.99 per builder.
