Savings bonds & social security card

Do I need my social security card to cash in a few savings bonds? I have a couple that have matured that I want to cash in. I can't locate my social security card (I know it is around here in the mess somewhere but I can't locate it easily )

You won't need it, but you will need you Driver's License, if your name has changed since the bonds were issued, I'd bring that proof too
