There's a thread on the Theme Parks board about the game itself but I thought I'd share this info here.

If you or your family members are playing Pokemon GO, be on the lookout for savings when you are in Orlando. I've already seen discounted admission offers from Bok Tower Gardens, Madame Tussaud's, and SeaLife Orlando aquarium for people using the app. I'm sure other attractions will jump on the bandwagon to help attract customers.

Oh, that's cool, Steve! Thanks for sharing! :goodvibes

The zoo I work at posted on their facebook page about how many pokestops/gyms they have.

It's interesting how this is turning into a marketing opportunity. A friend recently shared an article about how churches are working to welcome people who come there for Pokestops/gyms.

My favorite story is the one about the animal shelter inviting people to walk their dogs while they play Pokemon Go.

The theme parks are the best places in orlando to go hunting.. I think there is something in the game that has more pokemon out and around the more peopel that are playing it and where are you going to find crowds like disney.. even if people aren't playing, it's a quick 11-20km of walking per day but you have to have it opened and to the game, that's people playing...

I'm loving this game but I have a connection with my daughter and pokemon shows was that first just us bonding thing.. I've met so many people which is really nice especially having just moved here.. I'm in an area that is very much disney fans who are running around playing pokemon. everyone here has the first thought of "off to magic kingdom, lets see what's there".

I've seen a local nightclub around my area marketing "Pokemon Go Parties" where they will be setting off lures all night long to attract pokemon so people can catch them. It's amazing the buzz that this app is making, what a time to be alive!
