Hi everyone

Hope you can help me with my questions (you usually do :thumbsup2 )

I heard that you can take your own memory cards into the photo centres at the parks and ask them to save your images to a disc

Is this correct?

I would love to do this ahead of our flight back to the UK

If so, can you ask them to do this with several SD cards (as long as all of your images would fit on one disc) or do you have to purchase a seperate disc for each SD reardless of number if images :confused3

I also heard that you can place your order in one park and collect your disc at another. If this is correct, can you pick your disc up at Downtown Disney?

We will be in Downtown Disney on our final morning so it would be great to pick up our discs at the camera centre having ordered it in one of the parks

Finally, any idea of cost?

Thanks in advance for your help :worship:

We did this several years ago, for us it was a pain in the butt. They were slow didn't know how to use the equipment and only had one copier working at the MK location. Of course that was 4 years ago and they probably have improved since then. I just remember that being one of my most frustrating Disney moments! And they can only hold so many photos per disc, I think we ended up haveing to pay for 4 discs or something like that...

I do not know about now, but they used to have a rule that there was a max number of images per disk. It did not matter if there was still space for more. They also only used CDs and not DVDs, so even something as small as a 2GB SD card would take at least three disks. At there prices, that adds up VERY fast. You are much better off getting off property and going to something like a Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Target, etc. There prices will be much better and they will fir as much as possible per disk.

Thanks for the info guys
I always worry when my camera goes through the X Ray machines at the airports so thought this would stop me stressing but if it's expensive and a long process I probably wont do it :surfweb:

X-rays will not harm data on a memory card. If you are still worried just put them in your pocket.:thumbsup2
